How Bypass Works

The procedure creates a small stomach pouch and reroutes part of the small intestine using two connections.

This may help to:

  • Limit how much food the stomach can hold

  • Reduce calorie absorption

  • Strongly influence appetite and blood sugar regulation

Because digestion is altered, long-term nutritional monitoring is essential.
